The twenty-second conference for young researchers of the Serbian Materials Society was held from 4-6 December this year in Belgrade and gathered young researchers from the fields of biomaterials, nanomaterials, modeling, etc. Our youngest member of the team, Dragana Aleksandrović, presented our preliminary results with a presentation: “Exploring the potential of human placental tissue as a bioink in 3D bioprinting for use in soft tissue engineering applications” in the “Biomaterials” section of the conference.
This event provided a valuable opportunity for young researchers to present their work, exchange ideas and network with colleagues and experts in the field of materials science.
We are pleased that our project has aroused interest and discussion about the application of placenta tissue in combination with 3D bioprinting.
