Ivana has a PhD in technology and is currently employed as a research assistant at the Innovation Centre of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. She defended her doctoral dissertation at the Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology module at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade.
The focus of her thesis was on the modification of gluten in order to reduce its allergenicity by applying enzyme technologies, while preserving and/or improving its technological and functional properties. Besides AmnioPrintCare, she participates in projects III 46010, Eureka E! 13082 BIOFLOSBAKE-LAVGLU, and a COST action CA19123 (Phoenix). During her doctoral studies, she participated in the realization of several innovation vouchers.
Ivana has many years of experience in various approaches in biochemical engineering and biotechnology in research dealing with the production of bioactive peptides, enzyme technologies, and their innovative application.
