Congress organized by the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) was held in Budapest, June 8-11, 2026 with title Innovative Cancer Science. Dr Ivana Okić Đođević attended the conference with the poster showcasing the project’s results:  Evaluation of oncological safety for the development of human amniotic membrane-based bioactive scaffolds in post-mastectomy breast reconstruction. Ivana presented the results from the investigation of the biocompatibility of our 3D bioprinted scaffolds and their effect on breast cancer cell lines.

This event brought together a large number of researchers from around the world who study various aspects of cancer biology.
